The Anchored ability lets you play characters that stay in your expedition even when night falls. As these characters normally stay for at least 2 turns, boosting them with Teijas ability or with your spells is almost always a good strategy. An even better strategy is giving your boosted plants another Anchor to let them stay on the field even longer.
